Mud Cloth (Dark Brown and Tan)

Mud cloth or Bogolanfini is a traditional handmade textile of the Bamana people of Mali, West Africa. Hand woven from 100% cotton, mud cloths richly colored backgrounds are developed from a special brew of fermented mud, and finished with bleached out and/or hand painted symbols. Even with modern mud cloths, the rich history and culture of Mali can still be seen.
