Nupe stool, Nigeria

Description

Unlike most African stools, the Nupe people have a distinctive 8 legged stools.  They are sometimes painted in bright colors as this one with it black, white, blue red, green  yellow pattern on the top and paintings on each leg..  A lovely piece to bring color to a room, good for a side table and extra seating.
