This batik is from the collection of Helen Jackson who had a gallery in her home on Capitol Hill and collected from many artists.

Tunde Olundad’e  is a print and textile artist from the Oshogbo school in Nigeria.  He has exhibited at the Museum of  African Art in Washington, D.C. and other parts of the U. S.
Ms. Jackson writes, “His images draw on Yoruba art and culture and show unusual depth.  “
