Kuba cloth | Congo

Description

Kuba cloth is the textile made from the palm leaf of a tree and is used all over central Africa with the Kuba people having gained the most fame from it.  It is a fabric that needs intense work and unlike the woven fabrics of west Africa is constrained by the size of the leaf.
This long textile can be used as a wall hanging or a beautiful table runner.
