Description

This framed  poster was acquired from the estates of Betty Brooks and Barbara Jackson, two sisters who collected extensively African and African American Art.  They were friends with Malkia Roberts and acquired multiple pieces of her art.  Some were transferred to Myrtis Gallery in Baltimore and some sold at an estate sale of Barbara Jackson

There is little information on Antigua Gallery in Miami but the 1980’s had a number of small galleries focusing on  Caribbean and Latino art.
