Gregory Cooke, historian and educator, has documented the significant role of Black Women in World War II.   He refers to these 600,000 women as Black Rosies or The Invisible Warriors.   In doing the research for the documentary, Gregory Cooke discovered that his own Mother was a Black Rosie!

This Canvas Bag is a small way to honor these Black Rosies.
